THINK BIGGER: BEUTLER MEMORIAL TEN DAYS OF GIVING

Chris Beutler never did anything halfway. He raced to win. He wrote for the big screen. He loved enormously. He planned an 8-hour rock concert from his wheelchair. Every idea he had was followed by…but what if we did it BIGGER?

Many know this ten day stretch, from the anniversary of Chris’s passing on December 18th to his birthday on December 28th, as a particularly hard time. This year I’d like to change the narrative and do something positive for Maryland families fighting ALS by raising funds for the Brigance Brigade Foundation.

Families can be devastated by the out-of-pocket costs of living with a disease with no timeline and no cure. You can help. Money raised here goes directly to BBF grants for in-home care, home modifications, and equipment not covered by health insurance. Grants that helped Chris. Grants that BBF are struggling to fulfill.

We all miss Chris with his giant smile. So over the next ten days…let’s THINK BIGGER – share with his family’s friends, his high school friends, his Ithaca friends, his Renegade friends, his poker friends, his cycling friends, his Springdale friends, his musician friends, and let’s bring some light into the world this year!
